“What do you do in school? This is the question I’ve been getting from my friends, families, and strangers, and my only answer is “Illustration” but they would ask “What is that?”. And when I say it’s about art, the only response I get is… will I get money?
I say Of course! This is the career I like to do, this is what I ENJOY to do. Growing up in a Asian family those are the questions I get, I know it’s normal but many people only see Art as a form of habit that money will be the issue. Even though I get pulled down because of my career choice it won’t stop me, instead I will use that to strengthen myself and keep pushing myself to be great.
